Immersed in the charming countryside of Apulia, Andrea Fratepietro's family has been cultivating the olive of the Bella di Cerignola variety since the late 1800s. All the property's land is in Agro di Cerignola, a town in Foggia County, Italy. On the plains of Tavoliere, between the sea breezes close to the east and the fresh currents of the Appennino to the west, olives with firm and crunchy pulp and a perfect silhouette grow.

It was on April 9, 1890, when Giovanni Fratepietro received from his grandfather a legacy destined to leave a mark on his life and that of all his descendants. Giovanni, a learned farmer, passed on the love of caring for the olive groves to his sons Carlo, Benedetto and Domenico, from whom he leaves the company. In 1990, Domenico’s son Giovanni decided to follow his father’s path. He also holds a law degree, runs the company with targeted investments and leads the company towards a state-of-the-art agriculture model.

After five generations, Andrea, with his father Giovanni and his wife Valentina, embraces this legacy with passion. Andrea graduated from Siena, but once he started his career as a lawyer, he cannot ignore his attachment to the land and his family’s history. So, in 2004 he returned to Puglia and started this adventure. Father Giovanni’s help is fundamental in the management of the land, his experience is a guide in life and work. The encounter with Valentina, graduated in Bologna in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology, becomes a marriage of love but also a professional one. The competences of the two intersect and grow in a common project. The union of the three is the soul of the company, a synergy that aims to raise a humble job, made of dirt and sweat, in a large business project.
