Product Description

Chilli and Tamarind Sauce from deSIAM is a spicy blend of red chilli and tamarind, which results in a spicy and sour table sauce.
With Deism’s premium sauces it will be easier to bring the authentic Thai dishes to your home.

Ingredients:

Water, sugar, vinegar, tamarind 11%, chilli 2%, yeast extract, FISH extract (ANCHOVA, BONITO), salt, licorice extract, antioxidants (citric acid, ascorbic acid, a-tocopherol), thickener (xanthan gum, modified maize starch), colouring (caramel E150c, paprika extract).

Storage:

Store in a cool, dry place. After opened keep refrigerated and consume within 3 weeks.

Preparation Suggestion:

Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a saucepan over medium heat
Add 1 clove of chopped garlic and stir until golden.
Add 6 shrimps and stir occasionally until almost cooked.
Add 1 diced carrot, 1 chopped shallot and stir until the carrot is cooked.
Add 200g of cooked rice, 1 pinch of salt, 1 teaspoon of sugar and a pinch of white pepper, 1 teaspoon of fish sauce, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce and 50g of pineapple into pieces.
Add chives and stir until all ingredients are well mixed (about 2-3 minutes).
Remove from heat, garnish over top with cashews and raisins.
Serve immediately accompanied by Chilli and Tamarind Sauce from deSIAM.

Usage Suggestions:

Delicious with prawns, also goes well with meat and rice dishes.
