Bring the earthy flavours of the Mediterranean into your home with this brilliantly versatile and aromatic blend of garden herbs and garlic: Mediterranean Roast from Cape Herb & Spice.

This mixture contains ingredients typically used in the Mediterranean and although it is probably the earliest form of cooking, grilling in the Mediterranean countries acquired forms of refinement, especially in the preparation of the ingredients before they go to the fire.
In the Mediterranean, meat and fish are marinated for several hours to get the flavour of seasoning; a typical way of roasting meat in this region, are the quebabs or sausages, sometimes made with ground and seasoned meats.

Ingredients:

Sea salt , brown sugar, black peppercorns, dried sage, dried pasley, lemon juice powder (Maltodextrin, lemon juice, dried bay leaves, dried olives , anti-coking agent (silicon dioxide).

Allergens:

May contain traces of celery, gluten, mustard, sesame seeds, soybeans and sulphur dioxide.

Usage Suggestions:

Sprinkle generously over the skin of a nicely buttered piece of chicken or fish before roasting. Or simply season potato wedges, Mediterranean and/ or root vegetables or pasta sauces and pizzas too.
