Product Description

Umeshu is a drier Japanese plum liqueur with a strong fruit aroma. It has a detoxifying property and increases appetite, being indicated as digestive before meals. It can be served in smaller bowls, the same ones used for liqueurs. Umeshu is produced with ume fruit, a species of Japanese plum, when it is not yet ripe. It is very cold, mixed with tonic water or green tea, or simply with ice stones (umeshu rokku).

Usage Suggestions:
