An exceptional coffee liqueur made from the maceration and distillation of special coffee beans, respecting man and nature, selected in Ethiopia at an altitude of 2,000m and roasted by Vincent Ballot®, considered the best coffee roaster in France in 2018.
This special coffee was roasted and ground by Vincent Ballot in Haute-Saône, not far from the verdant lands of Grandes Distilleries Peureux, associated with Distillerie Massenez for over ten years and chaired by Bernard Baud.
These two men from the same region understand each other and their association is a given. The ancestral know-how of the Master Distiller is then expressed in this noble liqueur. The first fragrances reveal themselves, timidly, then more intensely. Thus Djebenah Buna® was born, meaning “Coffee Ceremony” and evoking this tradition so dear to Ethiopian culture.
This coffee liqueur evokes the extraordinary sensation of rediscovering the essence of the Ethiopian Forest, the cradle of coffee: wild notes of red berries that are savoured in a cup and which you faithfully find in Djebenah Buna®… because this liqueur is like the imaginary unicorn, dreamed of but never found!
