Pasco Rajastani Jalfrezi Cooking Sauce is a luxurious and traditionally cooking sauce found in Rajastani. Pasco have kept this sauce authentic, exactly as it is found in Rajastani. Slightly spicy, this sauce consists in a balanced combination of roasted spices such as onion, tomato, garlic, ginger, tomato puree, chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder, green chilli, green peppers, red peppers, cardamom, salt, water and lemon.

Ingredients:

Onion, tomato (19%), rapseed oil, water, tomato paste, modified maize starch, salt, desiccated coconut, garlic, ginger, chilli powder, coriander powder (0.9%), acetic acid, turmeric, crushed chilli, green pepper (0,4%), red pepper (0,4%), cumin powder.

Allergens:

May contain traces of nuts, peanuts, milk, soya, eggs , sulphites, fish, celery and mustard.

Storage:

Once opened keep refrigerated and consume within 2 days.

Preparation Suggestion:

Heat 2tbsp of cooking oil in a wok over a medium heat. Pan fry 500g of any meat or veg.
Add your jar of Rajastani Jalfrezi & stir. Bring your sauce to a gentle simmer.
Simply cover & cook to release the flavours. You can add a little extra water if you like and we recommend basmati rice or a warm naan bread to finish off. Enjoy!
Pasco Tip: Use as a filling for a spicy chicken wrap.
