Bottlings such as this “Millennium” VSOP demonstrate that their standing in the industry is well earned. In many ways, this is the complete Cognac, a marriage of craft production, family ownership and expert packaging.
Aged 12 months in new casks and then several years in older casks. It is therefore, much older than the minimum of 4 years of ageing required by the regulation, this VSOP is the best seller of
Château Montifaud range.
Golden color, not too light or too complex, a perfect balance, structure and already great length on the palate. Lots of finesse, notes of vineyard flower but evolution to dried flowers, some fruits also (pear, apricot), this VSOP is very round, mellow and fine on the palate.
Presented in a rustic, old fashioned style bottling with a traditional stopper and a string-wrapped neck, giving it a real “old-world” feeling. It comes with a handsome presentation tube, featuring an image of the Chateau itself.

This cognac is an excellent cocktail base. We recommend you to try associating the VSOP with scallops cooked with the
endive cream.
