Haenuki rice grains have good elasticity and unparalleled softness. For more than 20 years, haenuki rice has had the highest score in the Japanese rice ranking ‘Toku A’ (Japan Grain Inspection Association).
It has an ideal texture for making high quality sushi and dishes like risotto.
Instructions: Wash the rice several times, rubbing it between your hands until the water runs clear, then drains. Place the rice in the rice cooker and add 1.2 volumes of water to 1 volume of dry rice. Keep warm for 10 minutes, then add vinegar to sushi and fan well mixing rice gently. Count 75 g of dry rice per person.
