Its name has to do with its colour being a bright pink and is derived from the word “sakura” which means cherry blossom and has the same colour. This tasty side dish is made from small, thin slices of radish preserved in a solution of sweet, salty and acrid flavours resulting in a sweet and sour pickle.
Perfect to accompany rice, as an accompaniment to meat or fish or as a snack.
Ingredients:
Daikon Mooli Radish (91%), Sugar, Salt, Vinegar, Water, Perilla Spice, Yeast Extract, Black Carrot Extract.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry and dark place. Once opened keep refrigerated and consume within 3 days.
