Bruschettas with tomato and basil

Bruschettas originated in Italian cuisine and are served as an “antipasto” – a snack before a meal, prepared with bread and various ingredients. This is a bruschetta with tomatoes, basil and olives.

Preparation Method

  1. Cut the bread diagonally into slices about 1 cm thick.
  2. Toast them on a grill or in a toaster previously greased with a little olive oil.
  3. Add the spoonfuls of bruschetta to the basil leaves cut into strips.
  4. Drizzle with the remaining olive oil and mix well.
  5. Lightly spread the bread slices with the pesto sauce and distribute the tomato mixture on top.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
