Coffee and Caramel Tart with White Chocolate

Recipe not to be missed! Delicious tart to accompany a coffee at the end of the meal.

Preparation Method

  1. Knead the flour, icing sugar, 1 egg, and the butter until it forms a dough, and refrigerate to chill for 30 minutes
  2. Put the milk and cream in a pan and heat, stirring continuously
  3. Chop the sweets into small pieces and add to the mixture in the pan
  4. Bring to a boil while stirring until the sweets dissolve completely
  5. Add the chopped white chocolate and stir until all ingredients have melted
  6. Let cool slightly and mix 1 egg and yolk into the pie mixture
  7. Preheat the oven (air circulating) to 170C
  8. Roll the pastry into a thin layer and cut out 8 circles of 12cm diameter
  9. Place the dough circles in 8 greased pie tins (10cm diameter) and cover them with baking paper
  10. Add dried peas (or beans) to the baking paper and bake for 15 minutes
  11. Remove the paper and peas and cook the pastry again for 8 minutes
  12. Lower the oven to 100C
  13. Spread the coffee-caramel cream on the tarts and bake for 25 minutes, then leave to cool in the oven
  14. Place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours
  15. Remove the tarts from the cups before serving, sprinkle them with brown sugar and caramelize them.
