Preparation Method

  1. Wash the potatoes well and cook them in plenty of boiling water seasoned with salt. Cook until potatoes can be easily inserted with a fork.
  2. Drain the potatoes and peel them.
  3. Using a spoon, dig out part of the potato core, like a small boat (be careful not to pierce the other side of the potato).
  4. Place the potatoes in a baking dish or refractory greased with olive oil and set aside.
  5. In a bowl, add the drained tuna, the tomato, and the onion. Mix together.
  6. Fill the potato cavity with the tuna filling. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and oregano.
  7. Bake the potatoes in a preheated medium oven (180ºc) for about 20 minutes or until the potatoes are lightly browned.
  8. Serve hot.
