Preparation Method

  1. Remove the skin from the alheira and cook the turnip greens in boiling salted water.
  2. In a frying pan, sauté in Extra Virgin Olive Oil, the chopped onion, and garlic.
  3. Add the turnip greens, and the alheira and crumble slightly.
  4. Add the crumbled bread and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Keep mixing, if you find it too dry, add the water to cook the turnip greens little by little.
  6. In another frying pan greased with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, fry the eggs.
  7. Serve the alheira mixture in a ring with the egg on top. Finish with a little pepper.
