Lemon and Olives Focaccia

Preparation Method

  1. In a bowl mix the lukewarm water with the yeast and let stand for 5 minutes.
  2. Place the flour in a bowl, add the salt and add the yeast mixture. Mix with your hands and gradually add the remaining flour and knead to a sticky but looser dough.
  3. Grease a bowl with olive oil and pour the dough into it. Cover and leave to rest for 40 minutes.
  4. Grease a rectangular baking tray with a little olive oil and then spread the dough on top.
  5. Preheat the oven to 190ºC.
  6. With your fingertips, make dimples in the dough and drizzle the olive oil over the top.
  7. Decorate with olives, lemon slices, rosemary, and fleur de sel.
  8. Bake in the oven until the pasta is cooked to your liking.
