Strawberry Tiramisu

In the strawberry season, take the opportunity to try fresh and light recipes, like this strawberry tiramisu. The combination of textures is perfect!

Ingredients

  • 4 pcs egg yolks
  • 400 g mascarpone cheese
  • 4 dl whipping cream
  • 200 g la reine toothpicks
  • 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder

Preparation Method

  1. Bring the rum and water to a boil in a small saucepan. Boil for about 1 minute, remove and let cool.
  2. Beat the yolks with the sugar until you get a fluffy and whitish cream, add the mascarpone and continue beating until well incorporated.
  3. Whip the cream until stiff and incorporate it into the previous preparation, stirring gently. Reserve.
  4. Wash the strawberries, cut them into pieces (reserve some for decoration) and dry them very well.
  5. Quickly dip a few sticks in the rum syrup and place them in the bottom of a glass container or in small bowls.
  6. Spread with a layer of cream, sprinkle with a spoon of cocoa powder and arrange the sliced strawberries on top.
  7. Repeat until you run out of ingredients, ending with the cream.
  8. Store in the fridge for 3 to 4 hours. Before serving, decorate with the reserved strawberries.
