It’s ready to use; simply heat over low heat for a few minutes before tossing into the pasta. Its flavor is traditional, based on a classic Italian sauté (carrot, celery, and onion sofrito) with high-quality tomato extract. It pairs perfectly with thicker long pastas like tagliatelle, pici, or pappardelle. It’s delicious served warm on a slice of toasted rustic bread with a drizzle of olive oil as Bruschetta.
