Preparation Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Cut the bread into thin slices.
  3. Place the slices of bread on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper to brown.
  4. Cut the shallots into thin slices and arrange them on the slices of bread.
  5. Arrange the sardines and chopped pickles on top.
  6. Sprinkle with chopped chives and serve immediately.
